Quarto plates.

Quarto plates are characterized by high mechanical strength, good workability, e.g. in welding, and suitability for blasting and priming. Due to these properties, they are used for bridge construction, shipbuilding and wind energy plants, among others. Quarto plates are used when high plate thicknesses and very large component dimensions are required.
